We invite you to an unforgettable evening in support of the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (ABVI) on Wednesday, October 8 at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park.
This year, Crafting Vision is proud to support the R.I.S.E. Employment Initiative—a program designed to expand employment opportunities for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
In collaboration with Disability Advocates of Kent County and dedicated community volunteers, ABVI is developing a comprehensive initiative to empower job seekers with visual impairments. The program focuses on identifying individual strengths and interests, providing resume and cover letter assistance, educating participants about their rights in the workplace, and equipping them with knowledge of assistive technology and workplace accommodations to help them thrive in their careers.
Join us for an evening of delicious hors d’oeuvres and specialty drinks, featuring a strolling dinner with a variety of appetizers. Enjoy meaningful connections, all while making a lasting impact.
